Surgical Directions has released a new Case Study on “Building a better OR: The Road to Successful Perioperative Transformation for Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital.”
Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital worked with Surgical Directions to perform an assessment of perioperative services. St. Mary’s Hospital realized the need to address the issues in depth. During the assessment, Surgical Directions started with a detailed data analysis from operational to financial reporting. Surgical Directions also used a national benchmark database to determine the state of St. Mary’s performance and other tools to identify opportunities.
Through the initial findings Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital recognized major opportunities for improvement. Bon Secours St. Mary’s hospital proceeded with an implementation of perioperative services with Surgical Directions.
